BJ’s Birthday

It’s my dear, sweet, loving, DH’s birthday tomorrow and unfortunately he won’t be here. He is working for his cousin at the moment and is heading back to Moora later today. So, I’m going to give him his card today.

I lined the inside of the card and also layered the sail boat to give it a 3D look. I think I have captured the card so that it shows both as per below. I’ve now also added a sentiment inside on another piece of distressed Very Vanilla. Hope you are enjoying your weekend and thanks for taking the time to stop by!

Products used to create this card: Stamps – SU Seaworthy, Sentiment from Summer by the Sea (retired); DSP – Outlaw (retired); Cardstock – Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla, Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip; Ink – Basic Brown; Accessories – Ribbon – Chocolate Chip 1″ Double Stitched Grosgrain, Buttons – Earth Elements & Neutrals (retired), Linen Thread, Dimensionals, sponges for inking, Non- SU – Nestabilities Smalls Labels dies – a gift from the wonderful Pat @ Stamp, Paper & Ink

What a coincidence! Tad’s birthday is today. None of the cards I made him were as nice as yours. What a beauty!

BTW, please stop by my blog as I have some blog candy –4 sets of S2G stamps.

    Hi Michelle,
Nice design with DH’s card, like the extra layers you did.
