Isn’t this just a great little gift item!! You could fill it with any number of items – ribbon, buttons, brads, inchies, card candy … your imagination is your limitation! I purchased the Milk Carton Tutorial from Inking Idaho (aka Becky Roberts) – Becky has an awesome blog and fabulous tutorials! I changed it slightly so that I could use these Moccona coffee/mocca jars – which you could put any number of things in … although the weight becomes a bit of a problem. I did re-inforce the base but forgot to add boxboard to the handle so I wasn’t able to hold it by the handle once I’d added the drinking chocolate, M&M’s and mini marshmallows. Mental note for next time – if you plan to add heavy objects then you need to re-inforce the handle too! lol The cotton wool balls are there just to steady the jars so that they don’t clink together. This is the basic design of the Milk Carton Tutorial I will be teaching in workshops next year – although we won’t use the glass jars – we’ll use cardstock and make the matching milk cartons! All products used are Stampin’ Up! products (current & retired). Thanks for taking the time to drop by!
