Butterflies bring happiness

I have been waiting for this butterfly punch to make it the SU catalogues here in Australia and the Summer Mini is my saviour! I’ve paired it with 3 stamp sets – Butterfly Prints, Flight of the Butterfly and Whimsical Words, some gorgeous Real Red Polka Dot ribbon and a cute button from the Playground Designer Buttons to create this clean and simple card! I layered the butterflies to give more dimension to the card. Oh, I popped some brads from the Bold Brights selection to help balance the card and used some Linen Thread to tie the button to the ribbon. The weather is not very conducive to taking photos at the moment as it’s quite grey and overcast but that does bring with it cooler weather and there is almost a fine misty rain out there too … although I don’t think it’s enough to water anything. Thanks for taking the time to drop by!

PS – forgot to mention cardstock & ink colours – real simple … whisper white & real red!
