Raindrops and flowers

I bought this cute stamp through my wholesale business to see the quality of the polymer (not my favourite material for a stamp) and to see just how well they stamp. Well, I’m quite impressed! It inks easy and stamps super nice as you can see. Our niece is 8 in July and I thought this would makeĀ a great card for her. I stamped the Morehead image in Stazon black and coloured it with Prisma watercolour pencils and blended with Turpenoid. I then used an eraser to add some wear to the demin overalls. I added some 3D crystal lacquer to the rain drops after colouring them with the palest blue I could find. Then it was just a matter of layering using SU colours that matched those on the image. I used YoYo Yellow, Taken with Teal and Real Red. Added some mini ric rac from my stash and some retired SU bold brights eyelets onto the retired DSP = Summer Picnic. Mounted the main image on dimensionals but not sure you can make that out in the photo. I’m quite happy with the bright colours and the way the card turned out. Hope all is well in your part of the world! Thanks for taking the time to drop by.
