SIL’s Cupcakes

Hiya all … hope you had a super weekend. We had a very social Saturday catching up with our son for lunch, then visited niece 8 for her birthday and then SIL Helen for her birthday. Sunday was clean up around the yard day & mow the lawns. Not all that much to mow at this time of year but it certainly gives it a clean, tidy look! Ok … on to my card, you may remember my post Raindrops & Flowers last month which was the card I made for Niece 8 … well, today’s post is for SIL Helen’s card. I just love this SU set Crazy for Cupcakes. After selecting my DSP – Four Seasons (SU retired) I then selected colours to colour the cupcakes with Prisma pencils and blended with turpenoid. I added some Polar White Flower Soft to the cupcakes for the icing and love the effect you get from it – if you click on the image above it’ll enlarge so you can see all the detail! Thanks for taking the time to drop by and hope you have a wonderful week!

Products used to create this card: Stamps – Crazy for Cupcakes; Ink – Stazon black, really rust; Cardstock – Prado white, SU appricot appeal, really rust, DSP = Four Seasons; Accessories – Prisma Pencils, Nestabilites Labels 7, SU ribbon Rustic Retreat (retired), Punches – oval scallop & large oval.
